#How to set a new resell rate?

Once Mollie has activated Resell Pricing on your account, you can begin adjusting the resell rates to align with your business requirements. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Log into the Mollie dashboard using an admin account;
2. Navigate to “Settings” from the top left menu;
3. Look at the “Products” option from the left menu and click on the “Resell pricing” submenu;
4. Choose the payment method for which you want to modify the resell rate;
5. Adjust the resell rate as needed.

#What are Segments?

Segments enable you to create multiple, distinct pricing structures for different groups of your clients. This gives you granular control over your monetization strategy: instead of a single pricing structure for all your clients, Segments enable you to define specific transaction fees and payment method pricing for various customer types.

#How do Segments work?

1. Access Mollie Dashboard.
2. Go to "Resell Pricing" section.
3. Click on "Segments" tab.
4. Create segments, based on your business needs (i.e. "High-Volume Customer" segment, "German market" segment, ...).
5. Set segment rates: access the "rates" tab and define pricing that will apply for all clients belonging to that segment.
6. Assign clients to a segment. Keep in mind that one client can only be assigned to one segment at a time. As soon as the client is assigned to the segment and starts processing payments, application fees will be charged based on the segment pricing.

All new clients will not be part of any segment, but will automatically be charged with the base rate.
